Working with Elena and everyone was a blast. I was thingking how it takes a lot to make people stop and look in New York City, but we certainly drew spectators with our comotion and costumes. The expression on peoples faces when they see a cop sprawled out with a toilet on his head is priceless. I think their next thought is”man, I’d like to see this movie!”

Yes, I agree. At one point between takes, while I was lying on the sidwalk with my head on the toilet bowl, a man came up to me with a look of puzzlement and concern on his face. He asked me if I was alright, and I could only imagine what he must have been thinking.

You know, even our real police assistant, who new it’s a movie being shot, couldn’t believe his eyes when Rob started to “open Policeman’s breathways” by stuffing a tomato in his mouth.

Nick, it was a great joy to work with you. You are so creative you must have art in your blood. Was the Designer’s Grandmother any relative of yours?

Shooting on Manhattan crosswalk in real time, with real traffic, even with our little orange cones and under the protection of a real police officer, was rather scary. My heart sank when this big truck backed up into the crosswalk at the same time you crossed here with toilet in the cart. And you run ahead with a smile on your face without loosing a beat - and we shoot one of the best scenes. Amazing!
